Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By using Silver Surf, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
2. Purpose and Permitted Use
Silver Surf helps small business owners ("Sellers") identify and contact potential buyers. You may only use Silver Surf to market a business you own or are authorized to sell. You may not use Silver Surf for any other solicitation, spam, or marketing unrelated to a genuine business sale.
3. One Account Per Person
Each person may only create one Silver Surf account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent platform limits is strictly prohibited and will result in permanent suspension of all associated accounts. Account sharing is not permitted.
4. One Search Per Account
Each account is limited to one business search. The business type you select on signup is permanently associated with your account and cannot be changed. This limit exists to ensure fair use of the platform's contact data resources.
5. Email Sending
Silver Surf sends outreach emails on your behalf to potential buyers identified by our platform. You are solely responsible for the content of emails sent through your account. You agree to comply with CAN-SPAM, CASL, and all applicable anti-spam laws. Silver Surf reserves the right to suspend accounts that generate spam complaints.
6. Contact Data
Contact data provided through Silver Surf is for the sole purpose of outreach related to your business sale. You may not export, redistribute, sell, or use the contact data for any other purpose. Contact details are handled server-side only and are never displayed in full in the UI.
7. One Send Per Contact
The platform enforces a hard limit of one email per contact per account. You may not attempt to circumvent this limit.
8. No Guarantees
Silver Surf does not guarantee that any buyer will respond, that a sale will occur, or that the contact data is accurate or up to date. The platform is provided "as is."
9. Account Suspension
Silver Surf reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, generate abuse complaints, or attempt to misuse the platform. Accounts found to have created multiple accounts will be permanently suspended.
10. Limitation of Liability
Silver Surf's liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 3 months preceding any claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
